Annual Presentation & Dinner Dance – Tickets Now Available
The Annual Presentation and Dinner Dance will be held on Friday 12th February in the Adair Arms Hotel at 7.30pm.
The night will consist of the usual prize giving as well as a few displays and information on what is going on in the club.
Tickets include evening meal and entertainment.
I hope you can make the evening and would ask you to assist by purchasing tickets (£25/person) ASAP form any committee member.
Anyone wishing to reserve tables can only do so if they pre-pay for tables of 10 in advance.
Lá na gClub – 10th May – Calling All Club Members
To all club members…
As we know, 2009 is the 125th Anniversary of the GAA and Sunday 10th May has been chosen for Lá na gClub. It will be celebrated by every GAA club in Ireland, and indeed the world.
We will be having a meeting on Monday 27th April at 8pm in Slemish Park to agree on what activities will take place on the day and assign people with responsibilities for organising the day.
All Club members are invited to attend this meeting – the more help we can get, the better.
This could prove to be a tremendous day for the Club and one to remember for many years to come.

Ideas for Lá an gClub (Sunday 10th May 2009)
· 5/7-a-side competition based on house areas (E.g. Deramore / Frys Road / Broughshane Road / Cushendall Road etc)
· Each of the primary schools design a banner and have a parade at the club
· Long Puck / Kick Competitions
· Athletics Competitions
· Irish Dancing
· Scór entertainment
· BBQ
· Challenge Game between 1986 and 2008 Intermediate Championship winning teams
· Photo of all club members on the pitch, taken from height
· Hanging of 125 flag (will be provided by Comhairle Uladh in the club pack)
· Open air mass at pitch
· Rounders match with mixed teams
· Have a memory book for all people to sign
· Have it recorded on video and put highlights on club website

To celebrate the ‘Saint-Sational’ of our Senior Footballers, there will be a social function held in the Slemish Park Clubrooms on Saturday 27th December.
The evening will consist of ‘All-Stars’ type introductions, video highlights, live entertainment and a hot buffet supper.
Please note that this is an evening for all club members, and we hope to see as many as possible there.

All Saints GAC ‘Golf Classic’ date announced
The annual All Saints GAC Golf Classic will take place on Sunday 14th of September at Ballymena Golf Club on the Raceview Road. Over the last few years the classic has proved to be a very enjoyable event and one that has helped the club raise much needed funds for club development.
The tee- off times will be 10.30 – 12.00 & 14.00 – 16.15.
Bookings will be on a first come /paid basis. 4 balls going out every 8 minutes.

We have deliberately kept prices low due to the credit crunch. However, we still would like this to be a fundraiser again to pay off a significant loan we have outstanding with the bank. Therefore we will have a raffle and a mini auction to maximise the potential.
